TE Connectivity and Andretti Technologies Partnership Showcases Clean Energy Innovation

DARMSTADT, Germany – February 2, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity, displayed the Formula E car, an all-electric car, on the TE booth at the SPS IPC Drives tradeshow, November 24-26 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany. TE will continue its partnership with Andretti Technologies at this year’s Formula E race, which will take place on May 26 in Berlin.

TE is a partner of Andretti Technologies, the technology incubation and advanced engineering business of Andretti Autosport, as well as the Andretti Formula E team, which is currently competing in the second-year international electric motorsports series. Inside every Andretti race car and throughout the racing community, TE connectors, sensors and cables deliver unmatched connectivity in the harshest of racing conditions. The collaboration with Andretti provides a platform for both organizations to develop and test new technologies in a racing environment to prove and promote clean energy and sustainability.

In October, TE showcased its alliance with Andretti Technologies when the TE-branded orange Formula E test car visited CEATEC, Japan’s leading tradeshow for electronic components, systems and applications. More than 10,000 visitors saw the Formula E car at the tradeshow outside of Tokyo.
