Office Depot entrusts European mail distribution to Spring Global Mail
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 11 December 2007 – Office Depot, one of the world’s largest sellers of office products, has chosen Spring Global Mail as its sole supplier for European mail distribution. The contract, worth EUR 180 million over a three year period, will see Spring managing the distribution of 175 million catalogues each year across ten European countries.

European Court of Justice ruling may open up further cross-border mail opportunities for Spring Global Mail
Amsterdam, 22 November 2007 – On 15 November 2007, the European Court of Justice issued a ruling about the interpretation of the EU regulation that allows Posts to keep international mail under their monopoly. If this ruling is taken over by the Spanish Supreme Court, this will open up further opportunities for Spring Global Mail and other postal service providers in cross border mail services throughout Europe.

Spring Global Mail Appoints Chief Financial Officer
Amsterdam, 08 August 2007 – Spring Global Mail have recently strengthened their management board with the appointment of Wouter Hijzen as Chief Financial Officer. Mr Hijzen, a Dutch national, joins Spring from Netwerk VSP, a wholly owned subsidiary of TNT specialising in the delivery of unaddressed mail in the Netherlands.

Spring Global Mail reaches agreement with Pitney Bowes in the USA
Amsterdam, 16th March 2007 – Spring Global Mail today announced that it has reached an agreement with Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI) who will assume responsibility for all future business for all Spring Global Mail's customers and limited capital assets in the United States of America. Spring Global Mail will no longer operate its present business in the USA. Also part of this transaction is a Global Distribution Agreement that grants Pitney Bowes access to the Spring Global Mail network outside the USA.

Spring Global Mail enters the market for international press distribution in Germany
Cologne, February 2007 – The German branch of the world's largest private international business mail provider, Spring Global Mail, is entering the market for cross border press distribution. The new product, called Press Service, enables publishers to send products at more favourable prices than the main postal companies in Germany. In addition, the product contains a large range of services for the preparation of consignments.

Viking Direct opts for Spring Global Mail
Amsterdam, 2 June 2006 – Viking Direct, the office stationery mail order and e-tailer giant, has chosen Spring Global Mail as its sole supplier for distributing its catalogues in five key countries: the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Ireland. This contract covers the distribution of more than 140 million catalogues over a two year period.

Spring wins the TNT Master 'Feed the Hungry' Award
Amsterdam, January 2006 - Cees Degeling (Distribution Development Manager at Spring CHO in Amsterdam) and three other project leaders of TPG Post have been awarded the TNT Master Award 'Feed the Hungry 2005 for its innovation and creativity, professional project management and hands-on support of the Flourishing Schools Project, a year-long project initiated by World Food Programme (WFP) Mozambique and TNT Post.
