SABIC Innovative Plastics Names Emre Gurdal Country Manager, Turkey
ISTANBUL, Turkey – September 4, 2008 – SABIC Innovative Plastics has appointed Emre Gurdal to Country Manager, Turkey. Gurdal assumed his position on July 1, and is responsible for all commercial activities in this fast growing region.
“Turkey is a top priority for SABIC Innovative Plastics and a critical part of our global expansion plans. It is a major emerging market with double-digit growth, and its strategic location makes it a gateway into the Middle East,” says Gurdal. “We have the resources and advanced material solutions to help our Turkish customers meet expanding local demand.”
Gurdal has been with the company for six years, and has a proven record of customer success and a strong plastics industry network. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a master's degree in biomedical engineering and a master’s of business administration in marketing from the Yeditepe University in Turkey.
