New standard names for Rockwool Technical Insulation (RTI) products all over the world

In order to make it easier to distinguish between items, Rockwool Technical Insulation has introduced two new product families. “ProRox” includes all products used for thermal, acoustic and firesafe insulation in the process and power generation industries. The “SeaRox” family covers all insulation products used for shipbuilding and offshore installations.
(Photos Rockwool Technical Insulation, RTIPR008).Roermond / Barcelona, August 20, 2012 – The construction of industrial plants and installations as well as the shipbuilding & offshore industry are an international business. For example, engineering companies in Europe design industrial or shipbuilding projects, which are built or constructed in Africa, South America or Asia. This increasing globalisation calls not only for a common framework when it comes to planning. It also means that we have to facilitate the movement of goods across all borders. This year, Rockwool Technical Insulation (RTI) – part of the Rockwool Group - has responded to this trend, by introducing standard product names and labelling all over the world.

IOI Loders Croklaan Europe embraces savings potential of effective insulation at new Rotterdam facility. (Photo Rockwool Technical Insulation, RTIPR002)IOI Loders Croklaan, a leading global producer and supplier of vegetable oils and fats, recently opened its new facilities in the Port of Rotterdam. The new factory which produces enzymatically rearranged food ingredients, represents a significant breakthrough in the oils and fats industry in terms of innovation. The plant also meets with IOI Loders Croklaan’s long-term strategic goals in the area of sustainability. It features the latest technologies to recover heat, minimize CO2 emissions, and reduce energy wastage. When designing the plant, IOI Loders Croklaan worked closely with environmental surveyors to minimize impact to the local environment and ecosystems.
