DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers and Distrupol extend UK and Ireland collaboration
Distributor's portfolio includes specialty polymers for cosmetic and industrial applications.
Geneva, April 17 2009 - DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers (P&IP) has named Distrupol as its sole distributor in UK and Ireland for its range of specialty ethylene copolymers products dedicated to cosmetic and industrial markets such as Biomax® polymers, Bynel® adhesive resin, Elvaloy® polymer modifiers, Elvax® EVA resins, Entira® resin modifiers and additives, Fusabond® modifier resin, Nucrel® ethylene copolymers, Surlyn®, ionomer resin.
Distrupol has been selling a variety of DuPont polymers in markets across Europe since the 1990’s, under a range of different distribution agreements, and this latest step is a natural extension of the companies' long-standing partnership.
According to Heike Van de Kerkhof, business director P&IP EMEA, cooperation between the two companies combines the strong, local sales coverage and technical expertise of Distrupol in applications development with the innovative solutions and downstream-market access provided by DuPont. “We are happy to be extending our collaboration with Distrupol; by rationalizing to a single distributor partner, we simplify our process to deal with key segments and customers in the UK and Ireland” she adds.
