Toyota authorizes Akzo Nobel’s new advanced paint system
Sassenheim, The Netherlands, February 2003 -Toyota Motor Corporation has authorized all three of Akzo Nobel’s new Sikkens Plus® paint products – Autocryl Plus, Autobase Plus and Autoclear Plus. The Sikkens Plus range has been developed using new super-dispersant technology to create a product that is not only easier to use but one that requires significantly less material to achieve complete coverage.

Akzo Nobel signs global agreement with Daihatsu
Sassenheim, the Netherlands, November 2002 - Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes has signed a new supply agreement with Daihatsu Motor Company Ltd. The agreement to appoint Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes as an approved paint supplier was signed on 15th October 2002 date by Mr K Inoguchi, General Manager Overseas Service Division Daihatsu Motor Co Ltd, and Cor de Grauw, General Manager Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes.

Akzo Nobel honors car refinish clearcoat specialists with innovation award
