INEOS Styrolution lauches Terluran ECO B100, the world’s first fully bio-attributed ABS
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has introduced today the first bio-attributed Terluran® ABS solutions. The new grades complement the mechanically recycled Terluran ECO materials that were introduced earlier. INEOS Styrolution and COEXPAN claim food contact standards across all dairy formats using 100% mechanically recycled polystyrene
INNOTECH (Grupo Lantero’s research and development center for packaging solutions) has today announced the successful completion of trials with the full range of yoghurt cup formats. The trials addressed formats used in both European and American markets using Styrolution® PS ECO 440FC MR100 material, a 100% post-consumer recycled polystyrene grade produced from household food packaging waste. All dairy formats have been produced and tested to food contacts standards.

Orthex Group moves toward more sustainable raw materials in cooperation with INEOS Styrolution and BASF
Orthex, a leading Nordic producer of household products, has selected a range of INEOS Styrolution’s sustainable Luran® ECO raw materials for its range of SmartStoreTM Compact storage products. Luran ECO is a styrene acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN) resulting from a cooperation between INEOS Styrolution and BASF. It is built on BASF’s production of styrene monomer derived from renewable feedstock based on a mass balance approach. INEOS Styrolution uses the material as feedstock in its production of new sustainable styrenics solutions. According to an independent third-party assessment, the carbon footprint of the new material is 93% lower compared to the fossil-based Luran version.

INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has today announced the introduction of a comprehensive range of sustainable solutions for its specialty ABS product group Novodur®/ Novodur® High Heat addressing applications in a range of industries including automotive, electronics and household. The individual grades come with a significant product carbon footprint (PCF) saving of up to -71% as compared to the respective non-ECO product reference.

INEOS Styrolution receives RecyClass certification for its recycled ABS grades
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has today announced that its sustainable mechanically recycled ECO grades have received RecyClass certification. The Recycled Plastics Traceability certification, which is valid for Terluran ECO MR as well as Novodur ECO MR grades, confirms the post-consumer origin of the waste used in the production of the respective products.
