TE Connectivity Brings Career Opportunities to Select Universities in Europe

“Pit Stop” university roadshow combines technical content and creative 3D experiences for future engineers and designers

DARMSTADT, Germany – April 10, 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, announces its series of “Pit Stop” roadshows at select universities in Europe to inform students about the career opportunities and challenges for engineers and designers.

The TE Connectivity Pit Stop is a mixture of education and entertainment featuring a workshop and interactive 3D experiences. The focus is a three-hour workshop where students work through a real-life engineering challenge coached by TE project managers.

“We want to move beyond a traditional career fair and provide students with a workshop where they can understand some of the technical challenges faced by engineers,” said Nadine Deruyter, Senior Director of Human Resources, TE Connectivity Automotive EMEA. “The 3D programs add entertainment to our Pit Stop and give non-technical students a chance to see the world of TE Connectivity as well.”

Students will also be able to take part in individual discussions about specific career opportunities at TE.

Schedule for TE Connectivity Pit Stop roadshow:

  • April 12, Technical University Brno, Czech
  • April 24, Technical University Darmstadt, Germany
  • May 4, Obuda University, Hungary
  • May 10, IPGP Institute, France
  • May 17, University of Beira Interior, Portugal
