New Industrial Mini I/O Cable Assemblies from TE Connectivity Save Time, Space and Worries
DARMSTADT, Germany – February 15, 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has introduced a new family of industrial mini I/O cable assemblies. With their reduced dimensions and an innovative method for wire termination, they provide a reliable and space-saving solution that can be implemented very quickly. At a quarter of the size of conventional RJ45 plugs, the new connectors make the best use of limited space on PCBs.
A highly reliable connection is ensured by two points of contact, enabling the new mini I/O connectors to meet stringent demands of industrial and high vibration environments. The keying interface prevents miss-matching.
The assemblies are available in a variety of cable versions, including a mini I/O to industrial RJ45 cable assembly. They support design flexibility across a broad range of application needs, from the provision of protection in harsh environments to allowing for the use of high flexible cables inside the cabinet.
TE’s new I/O assemblies are intended for various industrial applications such as robotics, automation and control, communications, motion & drives, and PLCs.
