Advanced gasketing for powertrain solutions

Webinar - “How to seal powertrain flanges under the harshest conditions”

Gaskets aim to prevent leakage of fluids or gases by filling the space between the surfaces of the flanges – and they must remain intact and leak-free for a prolonged time, especially in automotive engineering.

Henkel is organizing a webinar on liquid gasketing solutions for automotive powertrain applications on October 19 at 10.00 CEST.

Loctite liquid sealants from Henkel stop liquids and gases leaking from gaps between flange surfaces in automobile powertrains – and they keep doing their job for years on end. Experts Georg Schubert and Erwin Rauh will discuss Henkel’s latest sealing product innovations, including polyacrylates that are highly resistant to aggressive transmission oils and gear lubes.

Georg and Erwin will also show how zero leak requirements can be met by designing joints in accordance with gasket-specific guidelines. They will then take your questions.

To register, people interested in the webinar can sign-up via the following link: http://www.henkel-adhesives.com/gasketing-webinar.

The webinar will consist of a 30 minutes presentation and a Q&A session.

The presenters:
Georg Schubert, Global Business Director Automotive Adhesives, has almost 30 years of experience working for Henkel, in marketing, sales and business development roles. He is now responsible for driving the development of adhesive innovations in the automotive industry. He received an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen.

Erwin Rauh, Business Development Manager Advanced Gasketing & Engineering Adhesives, has 20 years of experience in the automotive business, dedicating much of his time to product development of Henkel adhesives and equipment solutions. He currently concentrates on strategic growth for Henkel customers through innovations in anaerobics, polyacrylates and silicones. He gained his degree in electronic engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Electronic and Communication Engineering.
